All participants and guests who attends the AFHVS/ASFS 2018 conference must register. While online registration is preferred, registrations can also be taken over the phone (7:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST) Monday-Friday) at +1 (608) 262-2451 or by fax to +1 (608) 265-3163. until 4:30 p.m. CST on June 6, 2018. Onsite registration will begin on 6/13 at 12:00 p.m., at the Pyle Center.

Payment of Registration Fees
Payment must be made in U.S. dollars by credit card, bank wire transfer, or personal check. Full payment is required with registration.Registration includes admission to the Welcome Reception, all paper sessions, plenaries, morning refreshments, high speed internet connection, and admission to the dance on June 15th. Additional conference events (banquets, lunches, some field sessions) are available for additional fees. Upon check-in at the Registration desk (Pyle Center), registered participants will receive a name badge that MUST be worn for access to all conference events.
UW Extension Registration Services will confirm your registration. All registrations will be confirmed with an autoreply email. If an email is not provided, a confirmation will be sent by mail.
Cancellation and Refunds
Registration cancellation requests must be made in writing by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by fax to: +1 (608) 265-3163 no later than 11:59 p.m. CST, May 13, 2018 to qualify for a partial refund (less a $60 administrative fee). There will be no refunds for cancellation requests received after May 13, 2018. In the unlikely event that this program is cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, UW Extension Registration Services will fully refund registration fees, however, neither UW Extension Registration Services, UW Extension Conference Planning Services nor AFHVS/ASFS can be held responsible for any other expenses, including cancellation or change charges assessed by airlines, hotels, travel agencies, or other organizations.

Pre-Conference Field Sessions
A series of pre-conference field sessions is being developed. Space is limited for some sessions. Early registration is encourage for best selection. There is a minimum number of participants needed for some sessions. If the minimum is not met, registrants will be offered the opportunity to transfer to a different session or receive a refund when applicable.

Participants from outside the United States may need to apply for a visa at the American Embassy, consulate, or other visa-issuing office in their country of origin. Please begin your visa application process immediately after registering for the symposium as applications can sometimes take several months to process. Many visa issuing offices require that you present a letter of invitation to the symposium along with your visa application.
